Deutschland Ein Sommermärchen

I can hardly contain my excitement; been waiting for far too long.
It will be a long wait... but I'm going to make good use (hopefully) of this agonising waiting period -- get back to my German coursebooks and really put some effort into picking it up (:

Trivia for Deutschland. Ein Sommermärchen :

  • Some scenes were filmed by Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger, called "Poldicam" and "Schweinicam". There were also some "Klinsicam" scenes by Jürgen Klinsmann, but they were not used in the film. - what a waste!! and their cameras have names -- cute!
  • Sönke Wortmann had to cut over 100 hours of film for the movie's final version. - if only this were made into bonus features: deleted scenes ) [source: iMDb]
