Has been a crazy month watching matches late into the night & feeling like crap at work but I'm not complaing ;) For GERMANY. For ENGLAND. Definitely worthwhile.
The Germans have staged an unforgettable tournament and played incredibly, kudos to them. Just thinking of Schweini's almost-hat-trick(that's 2 VERY beautiful goals & a brilliant free-kick) that fired Germany into the 3rd place, I can hardly stop beaming ((: It certainly helped in getting over the disappointment & hurt over England's defeat to Portugal.

And as the World Cup effectively comes to an end for me (after GERMANY, claimed the third place early this morning), the emptiness sets in ): No more Schweini, Podolski, Friedrich or Lahm. Unless they come to the Premiership (which sadly, seems highly unlikely at the moment).
And I wonder... What's going to happen in the Old Trafford dressing room at the start of this season? Mmm. (Remember? When Cristiano soooo subtly made that infamous wink after Wayne was sent off?)
*** From now till 2010, it's a looonngg 4 years. But then again, we've got the Euro 2008 coming up, and then, we'll see the magic of the brilliant Germans and English again. In any case, Thank you GERMANY, for a magnificent World Cup ;)
