Okay, so I was stupidly slow in discovering that piece of news.
No wonder I couldn't find his name in the starting list of his events regardless of how hard I tried.
Man, that made sense.
The only consolation -- I failed to book myself a flight to Melbourne to catch him in action (which was the original plan since last year) due to... well, I don't know.

Jeez, I was so looking forward to the Games.
Now there's only the 2008 Olympics -- so far away.
I'll never see him competing in a Commonwealth Games again; you can just imagine how rotten I feel right now.
No more Thorpey making the headlines again, damn.
